Creating a remote disease assessment tool to manage treatment outcomes

Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) is a condition that is often poorly managed with patients suffering the consequences of debilitating symptoms. In severe cases, joints can suffer permanent injury, and require surgery. Left untreated, patients can end up disabled.

To combat this, a leading pharmaceutical company wanted to find a more effective way of monitoring and assessing the disease, so that patients might lead relatively normal lives. When they spotted an opportunity to improve management of the condition, they reached out to us.

In collaboration with the NHS, we built a powerful remote disease assessment tool for managing treatment outcomes in the community setting, allowing healthcare practitioners to close the gaps in care that arise from geographic and socioeconomic factors.

Our solution provided a way to radically improve the management and patient outcomes of the condition, resulting in better clinical care and treatment.
